Print size: 22 x 11 inches; center fold as issued. Mint condition new old stock, with no color fading, wear, or paper toning. The high-resolution photo was taken with a color-calibrated process, and accurately represents the print's condition and colors. Derrière le Miroir was an art magazine published from 1946 to 1982. There was a total of 253 editions in 200 volumes. The large format magazine was illustrated with original lithographs (in addition to a lithograph cover), as well as some reproductions. Writers and poets like Aragon, Beckett, Char, Eluard, Prévert, Queneau, Reverdy, Sartre all contributed texts. Most of the major artists of the second half of the twentieth century created lithographs for Derrière le Miroir including: Chagall, Léger, Miro, Calder, Tapies, Rebeyrolle, Fielder, Chillida, Garache, Braque, Matisse, Giacometti, Riopelle, Ubac, Tal-Coat, Kandinsky and others.
