Description: i have sold 2 to indian motorcycle museums,one to maggiei valley museum,other to ashboro motorcycle museum here in nc,in 1926...indian motorcycle company was lookintg for giveaways for dealers,they put a company that produced fishing reels with names of companies for advertising....indian then sent out reels with differat sizes and yardage that was added with every year from 1926 to 1930.....when dealers got thier reels,they would match them up with local area era all brass rods that were able to be transported on indian motorcycles then...ride...then stop and fish lol,.,.,.,.i collected every single one i could find in the 1980s....the reel had to have the original brass rod,bag,...and rods could be bought a short diatance from the dealer..its all aged...never push old brass rods together for it takes hercules to pull apart,,age grows or shrinks brass with time...i have used graphite...put..its up to you,many 15 years ago bought mine to display..........reels came to dealers in a leather pouch fromm all the info i have researched but i have ever only had 1 to survive...its 3 IECE BRASS ROD...10 INCH HANDLE...THE REEL WITH CHIEF ETCHED ON SIDE......THE CHIEF REELS CAME IN LAST COUPLE YEARS OF GIVEAWAYS TIME PERIOD.....100 YARDS IF I REMEMBER....THERE WERE 60...80...100....125...150...200...YARDS
