Description: A remarkable (meditative? macabre?) original lithograph by the California artist Elizabeth H. Lewis (1908 - ). Signed in pencil: Elizabeth Lewis. Titled and numbered as well: Terminal Vision 7/7. A very small edition. The lithograph was exhibited in Oakland, possibly in the Forties or Fifties. It gives Lewis' address as Sagehill, End Taos Road, Altadena, California. It's a little like one of those English cottage addresses. The pebbled matting certainly argues for midcentury or earlier. It's a thoughtful piece of work. The black and white spaces certainly set a mood. I especially like the spectral deer in the lower right. Original matting, unframed as shown. The mat measures 20 by 24 inches. The sheet is about 19 by 23. The printed image is about 12 3/4 by 15 3/4. Please view all posted photos and feel free to ask any questions you may have; I'd be happy to answer.
