The base for all our extracts is a much-much more expensive organic grape alcohol produced by an organic micro distillery, combined with only distilled water to get the maximum extraction and potency. Our unique TruExtraction process was developed by an engineer with a master herbalist background including Dr. Christopher's School of Natural Healing, and uses alcohol-to-water ratios based on the chemical makeup of each herb or blend of herbs, that will further yield a more potent and more active extract. Most producers use one fixed ratio, and that will NOT always deliver the best results! Additionally, we use the maximum amount of these herbs to make the most concentrated extract that we can, we don't skimp like many commercial products that have a ridiculously low ratio of herb to liquid, nor do we waste herbs by using obscene amounts that would require charging more for a product no more potent and wasting rare or endangered herbs. All of our extracts are made using dried herbs for consistency and strength (water weight can very greatly in fresh material AND it dilutes the alcohol base inconsistently which affects proper extraction and safety). Our tinctures are steeped for longer periods as is traditionally recommended by many of the great herbalists of our time (Dr. John R. Christopher, Dr. Richard Schulze - to name a few). Add to boot that our alcohol base avoids ALL common allergens AND the base has never been treated with industrial chemicals during growing, for those with very sensitive bodies. (Most tinctures are produced with grain alcohol - which is made from non-organic corn or wheat, potentially GMO based, and while distillation should purify most components, the starting products were likely sprayed with pesticides on factory farms.
