The key to hitting the volleyball lies in the shade that it turns which is a pinkish fade that's your cue to smack the ball. Arrows appear on the screen to indicate where to position your player to return an incoming ball. An assortment of other indicators and English instructions also pepper the screen to give a little aid to virtual volley ballers. When you're in the process of spiking, the front man will set it up automatically but you'll have to whack it at the proper moment to score. The first game pits Japan against Cuba and the first team to reach 15 points wins. Lose the match and your manager performs a harangue against the players.
