Description: Promotional Oppenheimer 70mm IMAX film cell replica. Size 11 inch x 2x3/4 inch. These promotional items were given out only at screenings of Oppenheimer in 70mm IMAX theaters, and only on the first three Fridays, July 21st, July 28th, and August 4th. Each week's promotional film strip had a different photo selection. This item is from the Regal Mall of Georgia IMAX on Friday, August 4th. This film cell replica is unopened and in its original plastic protector. One end of the protector seems to be sealed like a zip lock bag, although I don't know for sure because I did not try and open it. If it opens like a zip-lock then you will be the first to open it. Note that while many sellers are listing these promotional strips as film cells, these are not actual films cells cut from print reels. If that were the case each of them would be unique. These are promotional IMAX film cell replicas and three different sets were created as giveaways for the movie. However they were produced in extremely limited quantity and appear to have been produced with the same or similar quality as 70mm IMAX theater prints. Although I haven't removed the film strip from its protective sleeve, just looking at it through the plastic with a magnifying glass the detail is pretty remarkable, so I wouldn't be surprised if these were printed with the same process as production prints using actual 70mm print film.
