Description: For your consideration: a pair bottle lot of 12 sided puff bottles from the 1850's era. These were blown in aqua glass batch into two-part molds and finished with hand applied ring lips in the 1850's era. The small example shows an open pontil / blow pipe scar on the base. The larger example is a snap-case make. They were both recovered in a Philadelphia privy excavation in the last year. Both are in very good dug condition with some light ground patina as expected and seen in the images. They could be cleaned further. The larger measures: 4 7/8"- x 1 11/16". The smaller measures: 3 1/8" x 1 1/16".
