I picked these Santa's up around 30 yrs ago on my travels across the Kentucky Arts And Crafts shows. I met the artist at her booth. I fell in love with her artistry. Her Santa's were the best I've seen at the time. Her prices were high, but that didn't hold me back from purchasing them. She has a German heritage. And the designs reflect that. She uses vintage, antique cloth, and jewelry .All the beards are Jacobean wool. She has used many items from Germany. All the santas are her original design. The faces are all hand crafted. She claims she used her German grandfathers features as a model.she is quite talented. The santa is soft bodied. He was used as an ornament on my tree.
