Description: Description: One magnificent 1916 Van Briggle mulberry lily pad shape console or low bowl. This appears to be a rare shape. It is incised on the bottom: AA 1916. The color on the interior of the bowl is different than the glaze of the exterior: The interior color appears to light red with light blue poking through, while the exterior is deep maroon with darker blue/green high light. The finish is matte. It is heavy body and well potted. Measurement: It is about 3" tall, close to 13" diameter at its widest part. Weighs 5 lb 2 oz. Condition: Pre owned. Couple of light scratches .
