Description: ONE genuine Western Electric 728B 12" speaker Best speaker used solo in the 60-10000 Hz range and best mate with WE's own 713B driver and KS-12027 horn which I enjoyed for quite a bit of time. The 728B was along with KS-12027 horn part of WE's inglorious WE 757A monitor speaker. Perfectly natural sounding speaker, the 728B especially excels in the midrange frequency part, hence sax, voices, cello are so naturally reproduced! The 728B should be combined especially with WE/Altec horns like 32, 12024, 12025, 12027 to let it shine and drivers 713s, 802, 806 et al. Purchased the speaker circa 2 years ago, never was aware or needed to care about the 1) hairline crack (super professionally and glued from the underside apparently very fine and delicately; no need to put on more glue since the no gap at the crack edges) and 2) hole in the suspension zone.
