Description: This is an incredible piece of fashion history – it's from one of the first Norma Kamali OMO line items. Kamali started OMO ("on my own") in 1978 after she left her husband/partner and went lunched this label--check the label, which is the first OMO logo. One of the pieces from this line is in the permanent collection of the Met Museum (see last photo). This is a wool wrapped and draped sweater. It fastens with one button on the neckline, no other closures. (I have to admit, these photos don't really do justice to the way this sweater wraps around the body, so I'm happy to send more photos.) The mannequin measurements are: 32" bust, 25" waist, 34" hips. It's a US 4-6/EU 38-40. Stored in a smoke and pet free home. Please ask any questions, if you need more photos, I'm here to help.
