Description: Olympus PLANPL40X Dry Objective For brightfield or phase contrast observation on older CH, CHBSH, and CHB Olympus models. Not for use on BH2 and similar models. It is only 36mm from collar to tip and is shorter than the standard BH 40X objectives that are 44mm from collar to tip. Used but in excellent optical condition and has been tested by an Olympus factory trained microscope professional. Designed for phase contrast imaging on Olympus CH, CHBS, CHB, and similar Olympus microscope models. It has a 0.65 numerical aperture and a working distance .17mm. It was seldom used and has sharp, clear optics. It has some tiny scratches on the metal of the spring loaded safety tip but the recessed lens is undamaged. It has standard RMS threads, and is most often used with a microscope that has a phase contrast turret condenser.. The objective has an internal phase ring but no condensers or condenser phase inserts are included. Free shipping only in the USA via USPS Priority.
