Description: This listing is for a 9/16" all black cotton ribbon with original style replacement wood spools and ribbon clips. The Oliver typewriter company used cotton ribbons as original equipment and also sold them as factory authorized replacements under the REVLO brand (Oliver spelled backwards). The No. 9 was the first Oliver model to use an adjustable ribbon vibrator that could accommodate a larger 9/16" multi colored ribbon - this was an increase in size from he 7/16" ribbon used on the earlier machines. If your Oliver is not used regularly this ribbon may be a good choice. The black ribbon uses a different ink formula that doesn't dry out as fast as the bi-colored ribbon.
