The carving measures app. 7.75" long and 8" in height. The bird exhibits an excellent form and a bold fierce expression, yet almost appearing to grin at you at the same time. The figure retains about as close to 100% of it's original paint as is possible. Sitting on my desk as I write this he looks like he is in the midst of taking flight. The condition is excellent with no cracks, breaks or repairs and it displays beautifully.
