The item is an art pottery hand painted glazed tile plaque with a scene of what looks to be a European town cityscape landscape. The pottery tile plaque is framed in a silver gilt or painted wooden frame (see photos). The tile plaque is vintage. The item is from an estate liquidation. The art pottery plaque looks to be signed on the backside by the artist (see photos). This plaque framed measures in total about 8 inches high, and it is about 15.25+ inches wide. The tile plaque portion without the picture frame or the matting measures about 5 inches high, and it is about 12+ inches wide. The picture frame has been intentionally distressed with applied black spots to the silver gilded or painted finish. The picture frame has minimal wear. The art pottery plaque has obvious crazing, some air bubbles in the glaze and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
