Description: This is a beautiful rich shade of blue green, in a translucent finish with an almost etherical quality. It is presented on 6" hanks with eight strands on each hank, and the beads are over 39 bpi, so you are getting over 1800 beads per hank. See photo of one hank wrapped around a penny. The beads are 1.0 mm diameter and approximately 39 beads per inch. These beads were handmade from the 1800s to 1940 by hand, in Murano Italy, by glass artisans. They are no longer made and are very hard to find. I have a huge collection of rare antique micro seed beads, and just bought the remaining stock from a supplier that shipped these beads overseas from Murano, Italy. These beads were old store stock from Murano, Italy, and the Czech Republic, whose artisans handmade these beads in the 1800's up to 1940. This is some of the last existing handmade antique bead stock. Additionally, many of the color pigments and finishes, like "greasy", are no longer made. As an antique beaded purse restorer, I have been buying and selling vintage and antique micro seed beads for over thirty years. I recently bought the last remaining stock of handmade Italian seed beads from Murano, Italy. They are over 100 years old, in tiny sizes from 22/0 to 10/0. I also offer a smaller quantity of antique Czech beads, and the occasional French beads, too. I combine shipping- please put each bead purchase in cart using "Add to Cart" not Buy it Now. Once all of your items are in the cart, go to Checkout and choose Buy it Now only once, that way you'll only pay $4 US or $17 international for entire order.
