Description: Here's Law And Order Guilty of Innocence Cassette....pre-owned in good shape overall.......A grittier version of the L.A. glam scene, Law And Order were a band that failed to fit easily in any genre, and therefore got lost in the shuffle.Formed in Staten Island, New York, the group was brought together when manager Scott Koenig introduced Shane (vocals) and Rob Steele (drums) to Phil Allocco (guitar) and Sean Carmody (bass). They recorded the debut in Memphis, Tennessee, to try and create a more genuine and passionate sound then the average rock band of the time. They had a minor east coast hit with their cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Needle And The Spoon" and the debut single "We Don't See God". Touring behind bands such as Pearl Jam and Blind Melon had the band poised for stardom. However after the sophomore album, which included drummer David Todd (Steele took a leave of absence to attend to personal problems, but would return prior to the records release) things went quiet. When the album failed to chart the group declared bankruptcy to end their contract with MCA and disbanded shortly after. Shane and Steele resurfaced in the late 90's with a new look and a Goth/industrial sound with Uranium 235; they released their debut in 2000. Allocco and Carmody formed Dogma signed another deal and recorded two albums, the first of which was 1998's Feeding The Future. A new Law And Order album, The Glass House, containing material that was recorded years earlier was released posthumously.
