This would be proper for an early 1958 Corvette. The vacuum advance has "118" stamped into it. I believe this is the proper number for vacuum advance. There is a logo on the oil filler cap. The shaft turns freely. No excessive side play. The gear looks ok. This is an untested distributor that may need work. Please verify that this is proper for your application.
