Description: Quickly and easily add inclines to your O scale layout using our 12 piece trestle kit. Trestles snap together easily using two baseplates and two beams. They are designed for a snug fit but you can apply a bit of glue to make them even stronger. The baseplates feature three wide openings for screws or fasteners to track and/or layout base. These trestles provide a generous width of 4 inches, allowing you to add sides or fencing (girder sides are available in our eBay store). They are compatible with any brand of O scale track, with or without roadbed. The wide base and openings allow you to attach the trestles to track or base pieces in several different ways. You can use the starter kit to create one 2-3% up or down grade, depending on how far apart you place the trestles. If placing the trestles more than 8-10” apart, we recommend adding some type of base such as foam or wood on top. Assembled trestles stand at 1”, 1.5”, 2”, 2.5”, 3”, 3.5”, 4”, 4.5”, 5”, 5.5” and 6” (an extra baseplate is included to provide the first 1/2” trestle). NOTE: The extra baseplate and 6” trestle are not shown in the photos but are included in the listing.
