Description: NWT Talbots trouser-style cropped pants (or ankle length, depending on your height?). Front closes with a zipper and button. Flat front. High waist. 1 3/4" waistband has elastic inserts in the back and no belt loops for a smooth fit. Two besom pockets pockets on the rear seem only decorative, i.e. not opened up, and look tiny if you did. 1 1/4" slits at each hem for ease in dressing. Extra button still attached in a little pouch. The material is a knit blend - substantial but not too heavy -- but this is NOT a sport knit. It looks dressy enough to go out to dinner. The color is deepest black. If it looks lighter in the photos, that is due to the flash. Please allow for differences in color display on different computer monitors. I try to describe as best I can, but such are my photography skills. A label says that the Heritage model "sits comfortably at the waist, with relaxed fit through hip and thighs." Brand: Talbots Woman. Original price on tag: $89.50 Size on the label: 18W, but please see measurements below for best fit guide. Material: 63% polyester, 33% rayon, 4% spandex. The label says to dry clean. Quality: excellent -- new is new, never worn except to try on. No stains, tears, weird smells, etc. It has been carefully stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home. I am helping my sister do a good Kondo-style cleanout, and she has more than a few black pants. MEASUREMENTS: these are the measurements of the actual garment, measured with the garment laying flat, i.e. double for waist, hips, and leg opening. It is best to compare to a garment that fits you well of a similar fabric and style. Waist: 20" Hips, measured straight across, about 8" down from the natural waist: 25 1/2" Overall length: top of waist to hem, measured on the outseam: 37" Inseam: 25 1/4" Rise: where the front zipper seam meets where the inseams cross, i.e. "the crotch:" 12" Leg opening at hem: 8 1/4" with 1 1/4" slits at the hem TERMS: please ask any questions in advance of purchase as I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS.
