Description: Both these handsome Antiquarian Theological books are in fair to good condition..both books have stunning contemporary tooled leather binding with 5 raised bands and gilt writing on a red leather panel..The ext edges of the pages are all red..The internal pages are nice and square and tightly bound..both front and rear endpapers are marbled..the internal pages are both lightly tanned and foxed..with quite heavy spotting towards the front and rear pages..the boards are a little rubbed and scuffed along the edges with fading to the external spine where these books have been on display...there is an inscription and date 1895 on the inside page of "Parables"..and also a lengthy monologue inscription on the inside page of "Miracles"..the book titles are: Notes on The Parables Of Our Lord 1864 (Ninth edition) published by Macmillan Notes on The Miracles of Our Lord 1862 (Seventh Edition) published by Parker Son and Bourn
