Sony device: Reels are not spinning, not sure what is wrong but power it working and it’s trying to record, it just can’t with the current issue of not supplying the tape. All buttons click and slide as designed. Radio Shack device: This one seems to be a power issue or a short in the system. It will record and playback sometimes but other times it will record for around 5 seconds and then stop/power down. Same thing with playback, it records for 15-20 seconds until I stopped it, but then when I rewind to playback it will playback for around 5 seconds and then power down. All buttons and functions work and microphone still works very well and picks up even background noise in the other room. Radio shack recorded has a case which is photoed, and included in purchase. Lot Weighs: 10.7oz (no tapes or batteries include) requires a micro cassette and 2 AA each.
