NOS Vintage Suntour Bicycle Shifters LD-3000 Friction Style UB-10

Description: New Old Stock Vintage Suntour Bicycle Shifters. Made in Japan. These are pre-indexed style shifters as were used on bicycles for decades. They do not "click" into gear as current models do. You simply move the shifters in one direction or the other until you feel the gear change. I think that they were made in the late 1980's or early 90's. They are in an unopened package. They have never been installed on a bike. The levers are aluminum alloy and the mounting bracket is chrome plated steel. These shifters mount on the stem of your bike. Front and rear cables are included. The cables will need to be cut to the appropriate length for your bike. Important, Please read!To ensure safe transit I use recycled bubble wrap, styrofoam, or packing peanuts. No charge to box it up or to carry it to the shipper. Safe and undamaged arrival of your purchased item is a top priority. Any insurance cost is the responsibility of the buyer. Please note that the "USPS Ground Advantage" option is very popular but the shipping times are sometimes long, especially if you are in Alaska or Hawaii. Overall, I have had a good experience with USPS Ground Advantage except for Alaska and Hawaii. The shipping times to those two states are much longer than what is published. Priority Mail prices include up to $50.00 insurance at no additional charge. If you do not want the shipper to leave the box without your signature, please send me a message at auction close so that I can include that option. Signature confirmation is an additional charge. The International Shipping shown here is by First Class Mail. First Class Mail does not include insurance. Priority Mail is also available but is considerably more expensive.
