Description: Back in the 1950's, it was not uncommon for large companies to showcase large exhibits at trade shows. EMD was in their prime and their trade show exhibits were legendary. What you will receive in this listing is a series of 8"x10" glossy B&W photographs from EMD's trade show exhibit titled, "Blueprint for Better Locomotives". From the dates on the photographs, it appears that EMD used this exhibit from 1950 through 1952. These photographs were taken by an EMD photographer and from what I was told, the original negatives no longer exist. If you look close, you will see EMD's code in a lower corner of the photo (year-negative #). I do not know the location of the exhibit but I would guess that it moved from city-to-city over the time the exhibit was active. Had to cost a small fortune to move this from one place to the other.
