Description: This piece came to me from the estate of a Norwegian family here in Seattle. It appears to be a scorekeeper's bag or pouch with a divided interior and a glassine covered section with a hard surface behind it for writing. It came with this genuine 1952 Oslo Winter Olympic cloth patch attached. I am not suggesting that this is an original 1952 Norwegian Winter Olympics official item. More likely it might have been used by a Norwegian fan to keep track of scores and events. I believe both the pouch and certainly the Olympic cloth patch date to 1952. It is 10" x 9" and has a leather attachment for a pencil and leather attached rings for a neck strap (which is currently a shoestring). The piece is well made and is in great condition.
