It is signed on the reverse by the artist Jackson Robertson (1956-). Jackson Robertson is a master carver from the Northwest coast of British Columbia, Canada. He has been carving in cedar for over 40 years. His tribal affiliation is the Kwakwaka’wakw people from Kingcome Inlet B.C. Jackson`s carvings have been sold and presented worldwide. Jackson was nominated for the C Artisan award. His art can be found in galleries and in many private collections worldwide. Measurements are 25 X 9 inches and the carving is in very condition with a small chip on upper fin. I have been selling native art on ebay since 1999 so buy with confidence.
