Description: This is an original 1957 dated Northrop Aircraft Tow Reel Control Assembly With Target Launch & Jettison Switches. This assembly was mounted in the rear cockpit of the Northrop F-89 Scorpion fighter aircraft and was used to control a banner target that could be towed at speeds up to 600 MPH. There is also a clear plastic switch cover that is marked G.L.M. for Glenn L. Martin. It is 5 3/4 x 8 x 12 inches. It has 2 large cables with cannon plus attached.
