Description: 3410-2023) Northern Side Notch Fox or Wolf Ear variant made of a clear smoky gray tinted gem Glass Buttes obsidian. This cache quality G10 specimen measures approximately 2 ¼” x ¾” x 3/16” and has superb bifacial pressure flaking in multiple stages resulting in an even appearance and slight blade edge serrations. The stone is well patinated with onion skin and alkali lake mineral deposits as would be expected for a Crump Lake, Lake County, Oregon surface find. Was found by D. A. Hunter while searching private property during the 1940-60’s, x Hank Johnson, Miguel Hughes Collections.
