Our patch is located in Zone 4 in Southwestern WI and typically sees winter temps in the -25 to -35F and we are located about 200 miles north of the native range. To my knowledge this is one of the most northern established pawpaw patches that continuously bears fruit. These genetics are acclimated to colder climates. GERMINATINGKeep seeds stratified in the fridge until spring. Pot up and keep seed warm, 70-80F. Generally seed will germinate within 60 days.
