Description: View of a church or chapel, seen through an arch. Two figures walking along a low wall towards the tower with an onion-shaped copula, placing this probably in North Italy. Lage etching with the original etching plate. Etching on wove paper. Sheet size: 26,3 x 36,7 cm. Image size: 23,7 x 34,2 cm. Unsigned impression drawn from the original plate, included with the print. The plate has been treated with lacquer (removable) for preservation purposes. Made by Etienne Bosch after own design. Etienne Bosch (1863-1933) was a Dutch painter, draughtsman, lithographer and etcher. He was a student at the same time as Marius Bauer at the Academy in the Hague, and worked in a similar style. Condition: Very good, given age. Deeply inked impression with nice tone. Small margins. Some ink stains from printing process.
