Laura Taylor designed many of the animals. This elephant has an Art Deco style to it.. There is no glaze on the bottom of the feet and you can see the beige colored Dakota There is most of a foil sticker on this piece. This elephant is pictured in the book " Collectors Encyclopedia of Rosemeade Pottery". by Darlene Hurst Dommel, on page 123. The elephant is good condition with no chips, cracks or discolorations. It does have a handful of pinpricks in the Glaze.
