Description: For sale is a triple vinyl album by Various Artists titled "No Nukes: The Muse Concerts For A Non-Nuclear Future", originally released in 1979 by Asylum Records, a division of Warner Communications, with a textured and embossed gate-fold cover. According to the liner notes, these albums were mastered by Doug Sax at The Mastering Lab, Los Angeles, California and Bernie Grundman at A&M Stuios, located in Los Angeles, California. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped an upper case "T", followed by the matrix numbers A-21/B-23/C-5/D-5/E-7/F-21, indicating that early stampers were used to make this album at Columbia Records' pressing plant located in Terre Haute, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record set used, professionally cleaned them on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put all three records in MFSL archival inner sleeves. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeves are Near Mint. The 16-page illustrated booklet is Near Mint. The cover is graded as Excellent because of corner blunts, edge rubs and very faint ring wear. The spine has color loss at the corners from these blunts. The vinyl is visually graded individually as Near Mint for Records One with superficial sleeve marks, Near Mint for Record Three and Excellent for Record Two, which has superficial sleeve marks and very faint fine-line hairlines. All three records have surfaces that are shiny and bright without any smudges, scuffs or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading them all collectively as Near Mint Minus because of an occasional pop and super low levels of background noise, almost drowned out by this fabulous music. All three records play al the way through, without any skips or lock-ups from start to finish. They've been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned them and they still have a lot of life yet to them. This is still one of the best copies of this triple album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition, especially with all the inner sleeves and booklet intact. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have a lot more Compilation records, as well as albums of all different genres, listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
