Description: This nice unmarked glass syrup pitcher holds 11 ounces and features a sturdy red Bakelite handle. Its capacity is perfect for holding sufficient syrup without being overly cumbersome. Around the base it says "Made in U.S.A." and the patent number appears on the bottom of the lid (Photo #6). The patent number dates to the 1930's although this piece was probably made in the mid to late 1940's. The pitcher is 6" high (including the lid) and about 3 1/2" diameter at the widest part. The lid and spout a in good working condition (Photo #3) and the original gasket is included although it's pretty brittle.
