Description: For sale is an aesthetically pleasing antique primitive wooden staved piggin bucket in Excellent condition. Additionally, the wooden lap has subtle and tasteful decorative markings. Not sure if the item may have been restored and repainted at some point in it's history, but the red paint is very well done and pleasing. It would look great as part of a primitive display as it has a great old look. All staves are solid and the lap is also solid and stable. It's rare to find such solid bucket like this. Such buckets with wooden lap were used in the 19th C and earlier. About 11" diameter by 14" tall with the handle. Please feel free to check out my other antique and collectible listings. I gladly combine shipping whenever practical.
