Description: LIVING ESTATE SALE (Details at the end of description) For your consideration is a Mamod "Minor" SP1 Live Steam Engine made in England in the late 1970s/early 1980s. This engine is in good condition.It has been air tested (video) and should not give much trouble to operate on steam.It comes with a nice wooden base, likely custom made by the previous owner. It is complete except for the original box that is missing.It is all original but the burner tray is brand new as the original one was lost. (It's a genuine Mamod tray).You can use it as is or you might want to bring it back to a near new mirror finish. The Mamod Minor is the smallest engine that was made by the company.It was made fairly continuously between 1939 and 1985.This particular engine was made in the latest version (1979-1985).It was discontinued in 1985 and these little marvels are getting quite scarce. You will need some solid fuel pellets (anywhere camping supplies are sold) and distilled water is strongly recommended. Condition : This small Live Steam Engine is in good condition. It has been air tested (video) snd should not give much trouble to operate on steam. It comes with a nice custom made wooden base. It is complete and all (*) Mamod original except for the original box that is missing. (*) The burner tray was missing and was replaced by a new original Mamod burner.
