Description: Being offered is an issue of the New York Times newspaper from Wednesday November 3, 1937. This ORIGINAL, COMPLETE newspaper (44 pgs) is loaded with all the international, national, regional NY news, entertainment, sports, business and advertising of the day. Highlights in this edition include the headline of Mayor La Guardia getting re-elected and Thomas Dewey being elected District Attorney. In sports news, Hall of Famer Charlie Gehringer of the Detroit Tigers is named the AL MVP for the 1937 season. This newspaper is folded in the middle as it is home delivery edition and not cut from a bound volume. In FAIR/GOOD condition for it's age, it shows yellowing, some staining, edge tears and flaking and is fragile, especially along the spine and fold lines. Also has a fairly extensive water stain along the top (see pic). Be advised that some pages may show separation at the spine due to the fragility of the paper. A great piece of Americana for the ephemera history collector. Thanks for looking! NOTICE: Due to the current conditions, the Post Office is falling behind in the processing and shipping of the mail. Tracking information and shipping updates are delinquent or nonexistent. Please be advised that there can be extended delays, sometimes lasting many days beyond any proposed delivery date posted in the item description. Efforts are being made to find alternative shipping methods while still trying to remain cost efficient. Thank you for your understanding with this matter and purchase accordingly, knowing that I have no control over when the Post Office delivers the mail. Thank you for your business. Sarge
