Description: The large Y cutout NYC token was introduced in 1970 for 30 cents. It was the size of a quarter and had the same design as the 1953 style. From 1975-80 the cost went up to 50 cents and was ultimately replaced with the solid Y token and then went up to 60 cents. The price is for ONE COIN. The group shown are all in about the same condition, not cleaned with original NYC grime LOL. I moved the tokens to different locations and used different light sources when photographing them to get as much detail as possible. If you’re interested in buying more than one token, please contact me and I can adjust the price. I’ve included pics of a token together with a black cord and a gold chain to show that you can wear this classic NYC piece of history ... it would really make a unique gift! Please note that the cord and chain are not included. (I think a brass chain would probably look better than the gold anyway.)
