It's a compact Class 2 red laser sight that is considered safe because the blink reflex will limit the exposure to the eye to no more than 0.25 seconds. The wavelength is measured at 630-680nm, which is lower than 5nW and safer than other Class 3R laser sights typically used in airsoft. The Valken Red Laser can easily be mounted to most 20mm picatinny/weaver rail slots using the included molded mount. It also includes a coiled remote pressure switch that can be held in place on grips or handguards with the elastic retaining band.
