Description: Here is a memory adapter which was mildly popular 30 years ago, known as a SIMM stacker. It allows reuse of a set of four 30-pin SIMMs in a system with 72-pin SIMM sockets by mounting the old RAM parallel to the motherboard, above the 72-pin socket. Since motherboards were designed with 72-pin SIMM sockets right next to each other, it is not possible to fill multiple 72-pin SIMM sockets with just one adapter - the 30-pin SIMMs are too tall. Therefore manufacturers had to make four different types of SIMM stackers to fill four adjacent 72-pin SIMM sockets (see second picture). This listing is for type C only.
