Holes for the knobs, faceplate, and tuner have been pre-made, so installation is a snap. If you have a 21/II, you are probably well aware that the black grill cloth fades over time-I've never seen one that's still deep black in 12 years of searching and collecting! The faded grill pretty much ruins the look of the radio, especially if you've taken the time and effort to refinish the beautiful walnut cabinet. The new grill is a semi-rigid, acoustically transparent black fabric that closely mimics the fabric of the original. It looks exceptional with the walnut cabinet and silver faceplate. The fabric is stiff enough to not sag across the speaker hole. This listing is for ONE GRILL ONLY. No radio, backer, or faceplate is included, photos are samples to show the finished look.
