Description: The holy grail of vintage audio. This a one in a million find. This amp is in such pristine condition that it is indistinguishable from new. The nicest Vintage Marantz for sale anywhere. It has been basically sitting in new unused condition for 50 years. I had a custom cabinet made from exotic Peruvian Hardwood. Not the pressboard and veneer that came with it. You will be hard pressed to find anything remotely close to this in quality of sound and looks. In my opinion this is the best looking and sounding amp Marantz ever produced. Powerful musical and warm with zero coloration. It is true to the source. The phono and headphone sections are top notch. I am not using it. It just sits there looking pretty. It belongs in a museum or at least where someone will enjoy it. I'm sure I will regret selling this someday. Preview available to serious buyers.
