Its sound is inherited from Nobels' representative pedal, the ODR-1, and can produce anything from warm mid-range rock/blues sounds to more intense hard rock sounds. It may be small on your pedalboard, but it will have a very large presence in your sound. ■SPECTRUM knob A feature unique to this unit is the SPECTRUM knob. It allows you to adjust the low-mid and high-range sounds simultaneously without changing the mid-range. Turning it to the left makes the mid-range warmer and produces a sound suitable for blues and rock. Turning it to the right makes it more intense and suitable for hard rock. ■Differences from ODR-1 With the ODR-mini, the switch is true bypass, the knob markings are made of phosphorescent paint, and the SPECTRUM knob has a center click. ■Used by GUTHRIE TRAPP Nashville guitarist Guthrie Trapp also uses the ODR.
