The inks were mixed by hand and printed on exceptional papers with a Heidelberg press from the 1950s. This allows for a beautiful relief (depth). Each copy is unique and is slightly different from the others. This print is entitled Carmen By Sarasate. The Carmen Fantasy, Op. 25, by Pablo de Sarasate is a violin fantasy on themes from the opera Carmen by Georges Bizet. A version with piano accompaniment was published in 1882. The Carmen Fantasy is one of Sarasate's most well known works and is often performed in violin competitions. This piece was created from a 19th century sheet music cover which has been meticulously restored to show all its delicacy and authenticity. The sheet music covers of that time were often genuine works of art. Print is ready for an A3 frame with a matte OR an A4 Frame. Print dimensions are 8.27 in. (21 cm) x 11.81 in. (30 cm).
