Up to 5 labels ship for the same cost as the label with the highest shipping cost. This is an unused and aged reproduction clock label with an image that is about 7 3/4 inches wide x 7 inches high. The paper is larger about 9 3/8 inches wide x 8 inches high. The label has been expertly touched up and reproduced on light weight paper similar in appearance and feel to what was originally used. I do not believe that you will be able to tell that this is not an original label once it is installed properly in your clock. The paper is not completely flat due to the aging but this will not be a problem if installed properly. It is recommended that you practice with a piece of scrap paper and some scrap wood until you perfect your technique so that you do not damage this label. Use your own technique or try the following procedure. To install the label, dilute white carpenters glue, 35% glue to 65% clean water. You may want to remove the clock backboard from the case before attaching the label. Brush the diluted glue evenly onto the back of the label so that the paper is completely wetted out. The paper will expand slightly and flatten out. Any creases from the shipping process should also disappear at this point. Carefully lift the label and hold it on both sides with the center of the label hanging lower in a smooth u shape, glue side down. Place the label where it is to be attached to the clock. Hold both sides of the label carefully so as not to tear and touch the paper to the wood first in the center and gradually out to the sides so that there are no wrinkles or air bubbles. Smooth lightly and gently with a soft damp sponge to remove bubbles. Use caution because the paper will be easier to tear or damage when wet. The label will lie flat and shrink slightly as it dries if you install it properly. Again it is recommended that you try this procedure first using a practice label on a scrap piece of wood so that you can perfect your technique. It is not difficult.
