A fine mesh tube is constructed, and then fibers are blown in. Sometimes it is dyed after filling, and sometimes the fibers only are dyed prior to filling. The result is a yarn that is very light weight and ultra-soft and has more yardage than traditional plied yarn. Colors range from jewel tones to pastels, with a nice assortment of neutrals as well. Jody stumbled across this yarn in an Italian spinner's booth and fell in love with it. They referred to it as "vegan cashmere" because this supremely soft & plush yarn is soft as cashmere, but vegan containing no animal fibers - spun from soft delicious long fiber cotton.
