The ashtray has a felt non-marring base so it wont slide around or scratch. It has a cutout for you to rest your cigar.Dimensions are about 4 inches around and 3/4 inch thick with a deep pocket. Not everyone will use this for smoking, customers have told me that they use this for holding small parts, screws, loose change etc. Some even use it for there keys. Great conversation piece.
