As the coronavirus crisis continues, let's come together as one and face it, believing in the power of music to inspire people. This is the third Avex album with that theme! Aegis is the sacred shield carried by Athena, the goddess of ancient Greek mythology who protected fortified cities. The theme of the album is a belief in the power of hope that music can create, and a determination for the world to come together in the fight against the ongoing global coronavirus crisis. The album contains 11 songs in total, including the nearly 8-minute progressive track [BRAVE NEW WORLD REVISITED] released last year. All members write songs ranging from meticulously arranged hard rock to catchy and flashy melodic speed metal. The album also includes an original song written by kiyo (Nicori Light Tours), a former member of Janne Da Arc, who is one of their favorite artists. This is a work that will boost the popularity not only of the girls' heavy metal scene both at home and abroad, but also of the girls' rock scene.
