The band made a big leap forward when female death vocalist Angela joined the band on their fourth album, Wages of Sin, released in 2001, and this became a big hit. In 2011, after the release of their eighth album, Chaos Legions, Michael's younger brother Christopher left the band. In 2014, Angela left the band and Canadian female vocalist Alyssa joined. They have released their ninth album, War Eternal. In 2015, Jeff, formerly of Nevermore, joined the band as guitarist, and in March the new lineup performed in Japan for the 16th time.
