Description: NOTE: I now have couple of these New 2024 Ventus Blue 5S TR Blue /Black colored shafts in stock right now, which in my opinion are the best shafts Fujikura has made, they are soft in the butt & have a stiff mid section & stiff tip section to produce maximum loading & low to mid launch with low spin to get the ball to roll out after it lands. I have a lot of the different Ventus shafts to compare them to, such as the Ventus Blue's 5S & 6S, Ventus Blue red/black 5S, Ventus Black's in 6S & 5S besides having several of these shafts in the standard red/black colored versions, & the Blue colored Ventus Blue 5S & 6S, all in stiff flex, I did have several of the red/black paint scheme in the TR's but sold them all & the others are getting hard to get now that these Blue/Black colored TR's are available, but the couple I have had the numbers are a lot softer than the Red/Black 5S Ventus Blue TR's & as the same with all the shafts, each will have different readings at the butt, mid & tip, so this allows each buyer their choice to get the best fitting shaft to match their swing type, because I measure them with my differential deflection shaft machine, when the numbers at the butt, butt 2, mid & tip it really helps to have the shafts profile as it will help the buyer to pick the best fitting shaft, for their swing, then that is the shaft that I build for them & ship to them. Without having this special differential shaft loading machine you don't know what profile the shaft you are getting is when your buying the shaft as the shaft company does not list the shafts frequency on the butt sticker anymore, so by measuring each shaft at the butt, butt 2, mid & tip, we can use these shaft numbers to match the shafts profile to the buyers swing to further match the shafts profile to accommodate what they need in their driver & fairway woods to best fit the players swing. These are the Non-Velocore Version shaft & even though it's not a Velocore version, it has very similar numbers to the Velocore versions that I have had & sold. sometimes these shafts have better numbers than the Velocore versions. I just recently had a Velocore Ventus Black 6S TR, TR's by the way normally have a stiffer mid section than standard Ventus shafts, but this one didn't and the tip was quite a bit softer than most 6S Ventus shafts, which I sold locally, So just realize all shafts are slightly different from each other & the flex range is quite wide, with some having slightly stiffer or softer butt sections than the others or stiffer/softer mid or tip sections, I measure each shaft individually at the butt, butt 2, mid & tip section, this gives the buyer the shafts true profile & that is the one I ship to the buyer, if I have multiple shafts of each one listed I give the buyer the choice of which one they want with their purchase, I will try & get the shaft numbers at the butt 1, butt 2, mid & tip listed down below, when I get a chance, but if you have any questions please let me know. Up for sale on Buy-It-Now for 185.00, is a new, uncut 46.5 inch long, with the sleeve installed, Fujikura Ventus Blue TR 5S, 55 gram stiff shaft, which has a low torque rating of 3.2 which will not allow the shaft to open up no matter how hard you can swing, this shaft is in New unused condition & for a Driver or Fairway wood shaft in stiff flex & will be installed with any of the Ping Driver or Fairway Wood sleeve installed, such as the newer G-410, G-425, G-430 Driver or Fairway Wood or the G-30, G-400, G-30 SF, LS, Tec Driver or Fairway Wood or the earlier Anser, G-25, I-25 Driver sleeve installed. The shaft will come with a new grip of your choice of which I have many from Golf Pride, Winn, Lamkin, Iomic and many others in all sizes, even some stock Ping grips too. I will also build the shaft to your specs, for length, sleeve setup, but if left at the 46.5 inches length it will make the driver play at 48 inches which will increase your swing speed 6-10 mph & gain you 10-20 yards more distance, but I will trim it for free also and ship it out as soon as I get it built to the buyer's specs, once it has been purchased, this is the shaft that is most used by many Tour Players today in their Driver or Fairway Woods, a very well preforming shaft for players that want a mid/high kick with a stiff tip for a low/mid ball flight with low spin that will allow the ball to roll out after it lands, this shaft as mentioned has a pretty stiff tip section to keep the spin down over softer tipped higher launching, higher spinning shafts, this depends on the players swing speed, launch conditions, shoulder plane & driver loft as well. It suits players with a mid to fast tempo, since the butt section is a little stiffer than the other shafts I have listed the numbers from in 4 places on this shaft and compared it with several others that I have listed to help the buyer better evaluate not only this shaft but others as well, keep in mind that the shafts profile can help you with your accuracy, striking the ball at impact in the sweet spot and distance when it matches your swing parameters, such as tempo, shoulder plane, launch conditions, swing speed & other factors, it has a really low torque value at 3.8 degrees, so it will not open up at impact, even with higher swing speed swings. If the shaft is left at the uncut length it will play 48 inches long after the buyers clubhead is installed, this also keeps the butt section softer and correlates to the numbers listed below as all shafts listed in this comparison are at the full 46 inch uncut length, if left at the longer length, it will increase your swing speed 6-10 mph over a 45 inch driver, because the arc is longer, I have many customers using the long shaft to increase their distance & accuracy, one customer in Neveda is 6'7" & hits his T/M Sim 2 close to 375 yards, if you have other questions or need help with any shafts I have listed and how they compare to this shaft and will help with your swing or help in picking a shaft, please let me know. Fuji Ventus Blue 6S 65G stiff 3.440 3.590 4.140 8.480 NOTE: all of these shafts I have in stock, at the time of this listing but haven't had time to list them all yet, I also have them for sale locally so they may be gone & no longer for sale, and as I get others or sell these that are listed will update the list, these numbers relate to the profile of the shaft, the larger the number the stiffer it plays at that section, even though the butt section numbers don't show much difference, remember this reading is right below the grip, so a small difference can make a much larger difference in how the shaft loads & feels, basically the softer the butt the more it loads on the downswing & the more it unloads at impact, accelerating the head through the ball at impact. The two butt readings are 6 inches apart, so if the shaft is trimmed to play shorter the reading is going to be stiffer than at the full 46 inch length & by how much it is shortened depends on how much stiffer it will be, if you want to know how much let me know what length you want the shaft to be, for the best accurate way of doing this is to remove your shaft from the head & measure it from the end of the sleeve to the end of the grip, as there isn't any standard playing length anymore with stock drivers. The tip and mid sections help determine spin and launch also in conjunction with the butt section, meaning a softer butt will lower launch whereas a softer tip or mid section adds spin and launch, if the ball has to much spin it won't roll out after it lands causing it to plug & balloon in the air, I also want to state that if we had several of these same exact shafts the numbers would be different, as the shafts companies can't make them the same, case in point, I recently had 3 of the Fuji Atmos Blacks, which I bought for a customer in another country, because he wanted 2 with different sleeves on them, I measured all 3 & sent him the numbers, the two he picked were the two softer ones, so remember if you try someone else shaft & it feels really good & think if you get the same it will be the same, there is a very small chance that it is going to happen, I have measured thousands of shafts & the two I sent him were as probably as close together as any two I have found in over 15 years of doing this & they weren't exactly the same either, but were reasonably close as any I have measured. Thanks for looking
