Description: Munising Wooden Salad Bowl Set of 7 Bowls Fruit Plums "Never Used" Original Cellophane on Bowls, w/ the large footed serving bowl cellophane mostly missing and some marks from hanging around all through the years, but it was never used. The bowl widths are approximate and vary somewhat from one to the next as they are all hand made. They were made by the Munising Wood Products company in Munising, Michigan and when out of business in 1955, and they are a prized collectible in kitchen ware & home goods for mid-century collectors. They were both decorative & functional and are part of Upper Peninsula & Michigan history. At its peak they employed 250-300 people for their American Woodenware. Thanks for looking! R3
